Privacy and cookies

Your privacy on costas.digital.

The short version: nothing tracks you until you say yes, I never sell your data, and you can change your mind at any time.

Who I am

This website belongs to Costas Kastamoulas, a Performance & SEO Specialist based in London. If you have any question about your data, email hello@costas.digital.

Cookies and similar tools

When you first visit, a banner asks what you allow. Until you choose, only the one thing the site needs to work is used: remembering your choice. You can accept all, reject all, or pick what you want. You can change this any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

I use Google Tag Manager to load these tools, and Google's consent mode so that each tool follows your choice. If you say no to analytics or marketing, Google may still receive basic signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed, but nothing that identifies your browser.

Google Analytics

With your consent, Google Analytics 4 tells me things like which pages were visited, from which country and which kind of device, and whether a visit came from search, an ad or a link. It does not tell me who you are. I keep this data for 14 months. Google's own privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

When you contact me

If you email me, message me on WhatsApp, iMessage, Telegram or LinkedIn, or book a call, I receive what you send: usually your name, contact details and your message. I use it only to reply and to work with you, and I keep it for as long as we are in touch and for up to 2 years after, unless the law asks me to keep invoices longer. Calls are booked through Google Calendar, so Google processes your booking details too.

Other services this site uses

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and protects it. It keeps short technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
  • Google Fonts provides the typefaces. Your browser asks Google for the font files, which shares your IP address with Google.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law (GDPR) you can ask to see the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how I use it. Email hello@costas.digital and I will reply within one month. If you are not happy with my answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus, or the Hellenic Data Protection Authority in Greece.
